Ate here last night, we called in without a reservation. We shared six tapas dishes, washed down with a glass of wine and a pint of lager. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and very nicely presented. Other dishes being served to other guests looked equally impressive. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and I recommend this establishment to everyone. If you are local to Eccleston, you will know that we are spoilt for choice for places to eat. This is definitely as good as any, and better than most. In fact, I would say that I will be more likely to re-visit here, than go to any of the other highly-rated eating places around here.

A pleasant and warm welcome from the team. The Restaraunt has a great atmosphere especially with the Gin bar upstairs. Not only a Restaraunt but a venue to stay all night and enjoy. The food is freshly cooked and of excellent standard. Speciality Turkish bread is amazing! Always go hungry as portion size is big. Love this place!

We love it here!!! We always go here when we have friends visiting. We usually go during the tapas 3 for £10.95 deal on a Friday or Saturday afternoon. Very good value for money for the exceptional quality of food. Staff always make us feel most welcome and the complimentary Turkish bread is a treat! We’re happy to call ourselves regulars here. Thank you and see you next time !!!

Ate here for lunch on the last minute on Sunday 18th.No problem getting an online reservation.
Parking is plentiful.
Hadn't been here for may years despite it being on our doorstep some 4 miles away and was very pleasantly surprised.Very nice inside cosy and welcoming staff.
There is a drinks menu with good selection particularly of gins if thats your tipple.
We ordered the hummas and pitta, garlic mushrooms and koftas to start then Moussaka and the sea bass fillets followed by a desert to share,2 coffees ,a beer and soft drink. You got Turkish bread and dips free also, not seen since our holidays in Turkey. They also have a Sunday lunch menu which we may try next time. There is a good selection of mediteranean cuisine to suit most people including some that can be served tapas style.
Its really nice to see the food actually resemble the pictures posted as this is mostly not the case and we really enjoyed all the courses. My sauce with the fish could have been a little more intense but that is being very critical.Bill came to £60 but we had the 25% off March offer which brought it down to £45.We would not have complained paying full price. We will return shorlty and hope they keep up these standards.Definitely an hidden gem ! Recommended.

Enjoyed an evening meal at the Mediterranean at the Robin Hood, Mawdesley. Excellent in all respects. To be fair, some reviews last year were not good, but at our first visit for many years today, we can say that everything was really good. One of the best restaurant meals for a while. Choice is huge, food is nicely presented and perfectly cooked to bring out the taste. Service was also excellent. Can recommend diners to ignore negative reviews and go see for yourselves!
