Saw Joe Pasquale in Some Mothers Do Ave em, which by all logical thought should have been a second rate copy. So if I learnt one thing, it was to never apply logic to comedy. After about 20 minutes I had forgotten that Joe hadn't always played the part. He didn't (as I mistakenly thought) try to copy the original but played his own brilliant version of the character, responding to the audience with just a hint of improvisation and his own timing and expression that instantly endeared you to both the character and the actor in equal measure.
With an excellent supporting cast (sorry not to name all) the show was a real bundle of feel good fun.
The theatre is very comfortable with almost all seats providing a good view.
