Good points: front desk staff was helpful and considerate about our early check in and late check out, and the food at the Brickyard Resto was good (although their wait staff could be a little more smiley and attentive). It's a large property set back from the road, with a lot of greenery (my kids enjoyed the big space, and the treehouse in the middle of the courtyard). The room was big enough for 5 people ( 3 adults, a kid, a toddler).
I would suggest they provide slightly bigger towels, brighter lights in the room, and fix their sliding windows. Ours didn't shut completely, and couldn't lock. That's a bit of a security issue. I think it's also the reason why the airconditioner took a long time to cool the room. The restaurant would please more customers if they provided brewed coffee (sugar and cream on the side) instead of the overly creamy 3-in-1 that they served for breakfast.
The pool was big, and according to the front desk, they clean and filter the water nightly. We were in Isabela to visit relatives, and stayed one night. The adults got a good night's sleep, and the kids were able to swim, so this was good enough for us. However I woke up on Sunday morning, thinking it was Saturday night, because the neighbours were singing karaoke on the other side of the wall at 7:30 am.

This place has a lot of potential, hopefully over the next few years they can continue to improve and make it a classy, cozy place to stay. Considering the price, the complementary breakfast (other places don't have that), and the convenient location along the highway, this is a good place to stay if you need to crash one night in Cordon.More
