“Cerne Abbas Giant”
Review of Cerne Abbas Giant

Reviewed 2 weeks ago

There is a small carpark and viewpoint to see the Cerne Abbas Giant but you don't really get a good view, worth a look at though if you are in the area.

I really don't think this "chalk" depiction is as visually significant as some of the other ones in the area. I believe the best view is from a roadside overlook on the road to Sherborne.

Really odd place to have such a monument but really intriguing place to visit...... Better on a dry day!

The Cerme Abbas Man (in le France we say Monsieur Le Grand Zizi) is well worth a visit if you are in the area. As others have said you can't see much of him up close but it is still a good walk up to see over the valley. Several good pubs nearby too so a good afternoon out.

Stayed locally and walked to the bottom of the giant. Top tip...you can see more further away so no need to walk up it!
