The hotel is quaint and comfortable, the staff are polite and service is prompt. With only 10 rooms furnished in the Spanish colonial style, it feels like a vacation in the province in your grandma's house. The best feature is that it's walking distance to all the places of interest in Taal Heritage Town. Casa Recuerdos is just across the street, where you can rent costumes and have your photos taken. The swimming pool is nice, but could have been bigger. We stayed two nights on a weekend and the buffet breakfast was the same everyday - I hope they introduce a revolving daily menu. Food was okay, but not that great. With the hotel being owned by the Villavicencio family of Triple V group of restaurants, I expected better fare on the menu. While the hotel is generally clean, the restaurant area is not - the fabric table cloths are not changed often and were already stained. However, these are small shortcomings, and overall, it was a pleasant stay and given its ambience, location and service, it was worth the price. I will stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends.More
