We decided to try out Little Bridge resort in Taal Batangas for our Holy week vacation as per recommendation by my sister in law. Contrary to their expectations that there were just a few visitors to the resort, the place was jam packed...

This resort is best for people on a budget, group of 10 to 20 people. We stayed overnight in a room with 3 double size beds. The room fits 10 to 20 people easily. aside from air-conditioning and hot water in the shower, don't expect any other amenities. The place is not well maintained but you can bring your own food, they have available grilling areas for you to cook.

Swimming pool is open from 7AM to 11:30PM. They have a kiddie pool (3ft) and adult pool (4ft to 7ft). My 4y/o daughter swam in the kiddie pool in the afternoon. At night, she complained that her tummy was hurting and she started to vomit. She felt better in the morning until we got home. But at the afternoon, she started vomiting again. I had to bring her to the ER in Medical City. She was ok after drinking medicine and resting for 3 hours. The pedia mentioned that she might have ingested bacteria from the dirty water in the pool.
The resort is also near the beach if you wish to swim in the sea. But don't expect too much. Sad to say, during our stay, there was a tragic incident, a 12 y/o boy drowned in the pool. There were no life guards or medical staff to help the poor boy. Hope this would be the last time it would happen. Our prayers go out to the young man and his family.

Overall, it was a let down of a vacation. The only thing i enjoyed was the long drive and of course the time I spent with my family. Thank God for keeping us safe throughout our travel and no one from our relatives got hurt.
