Review of CK - Inn
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Feb 26, 2013
We rented kayaks for a 3/2 trip. Got picked up at the port at time, when we arrived the kayaks was ready, we had a good lunch, and a brief about the island, and off we went! Good quality of kayaks, tents, sleeping bags.

Highly recommendable. Good job CK Inn

I visited Caramoan with my family weeks ago and stayed here in CK-Inn. The inn offers a decent and comfortable place to stay, they offer food that showcases what the place has to offer (instead of fancy, so-metro meals) and in HUGE serving quantities! Dining was the next big thing next the tour itself. Kayaks were also brought during our tour so that's kayak-all-you-can with no extra charge.

The inn staff are courteous and hospitable, the owners (Arild & Gigi), who happened to be there for a short vacation since both are based in Sweden, are very hands-on. Their place has plenty of room for improvements. Currently, they just have the 2-storey building where the rooms are and the native hut as dining area. Some houses are also in the area which I guess are used by the staff and relatives of the owners (it's a sort of family-run business). Don't expect (yet) a resort-type of environment, just imagine you're staying on someone's remote beach-side home. According to the owners, they are planning to build new structures (ie rooms, bar, dining area) late 2012 to continuously improve their service. I am definitely looking forward to this!

Visiting Caramoan through CK-Inn is all worth it!

Stayed in room1, bed was comfortable so as the imported pillows! AC with cable TV, toilet is seperate from shower(shared with room2), both are very clean and overall; acommodation was great. In the evening though, always make sure to leave the door closed, as the rooms provide an attraction for stinking insects from the surrounding bushes and expect power outages as this is usual in Caramoan.
Tasty food will be served, an assortment of usual Filipino lunch, breakfast and dinner.
Tour guide (Kuya Rene) pursued us to take time for every activity, and also was very kind to take care of your needs specially when going around town and buying things for you, as the Inn is located near the beach about 15 mins from the town proper.
As from all the packages that I've seen they're the only ones who offer Kayaking(so don't be surprised when other tourists ask you for renting the kayaks), so while being not the cheapest you may find, its really worth it, plus the gears you will be using are not really cheap(specifically the life vests unlike with other offerings).

Last words:

BIG BANGS for your bucks! Really recommended.
Looking forward to staying here again. :)

Room tip: Choose Room1 when travelling alone or as a couple, otherwise for traveling as a group is Room3 on the first floor.

the travel we had was too long and we have no expectation whatsoever in our minds, but to be honest the experience was all worth it...the place as i thought at first was directly nearby the shore, but was not..it was not a typical place we used to stay in our provinces so to speak..CK Inn is one of a kind and isolated unique ambiance where sorroundings are very normal basic..very natural! The Island hopping we had for the last 2 days was SUPERB...we wowed the natures secret places..TINAGO Beach is very SOLEMN..so CALM and QUITE...it's like you are the only people living that place..Truly Refreshing! GOTA Island was amazing place, very beautiful...really WOW!!! to sum up all..quality time spend at CARAMOAN - CK Inn with my family is WORTWHILE!!! thanks to the hospitality extended by Mr. Rey and Mr. Arild..God Bless You!!!

At first I thought it was one of those "just a vacation" type of thing that after the vacation trip, you'll feel tired and drained out but I was wrong! This vacation was one of a kind and it turned out to be one of my best vacation with my family.

I fell in love with Caramoan - all those beautiful islands, beaches plus the VIP treatment that me and my family experienced while staying at The CK-Inn was really unforgettable, very satisfying, really your money's worth and not tiring coz you'll want to see more or come back to visit those beautiful places that the province can offer.

I guess me and my family got the best of the best when we stayed at The CK-Inn coz they have everything a vacation should have - island hopping with kayak and snorkeling, great accommodating, knowledgeable staff, their tour guide was really friendly and gave in to all our requests... and oh, their life vest is not those cheap ones like what others use.

Over all, the place is highly recommended =)
