While touring Nova Scotia on our motorcycles, we were fortunate to have discovered the Harbour House Cafe. The service was great, the owner, Candace, was very friendly and the cook, Angie, prepared a great lunch for the four of us.

We have been here several times since it opened. Our favorite is the turkey burger made with real pieces of turkey. The homemade coleslaw is good (sometimes mistaken for shop bought). The homemade bread rolls are also delicious. My wife also loved the lobster chowder. They are open from 11 am to 7 pm everyday.

Very good fish and lobster chowders on offer the day we went. Bread pudding was average. Coffee was also average. Good ambience , friendly waitress and cook. Closes at 7.

What a great find! Small, friendly, delicious! In my 3 visits over a 3 day weekend, feasted on the chowders (with homemade buns!), the bread pudding and the blueberry grunt. (I am not familiar with 'grunts' but it may have something to do with my full tummy.) Family run and staffed, pride in the cafe shines through. Home cooking. Yum. Go early, they close at 7. Will definitely be back when I return to N.S.

We just came here for lunch. It's a cute family run cafe. People are very nice. Had the chicken curry and rice. The chicken was a bit dry, didn't taste like curry at all, although it was delicious. The rice was a beef broth based rice which did not compliment the chicken. Husband had the Mic Stella Burger. Just okay. Came with prepared coleslaw and potato chips.

This place has potential, it's adorable but the food needs a little more pizzaz in my opinion. Pretty average.
