Visited here with a tour group and the area is charming. Will come back when the weather gets warmer.

Just go to Quebec if you want to experience European influenced architecture, culture and food. Walking around old Quebec city you can appreciate the history and fantastic job they did in restoring the old buildings and architecture. There are many interesting shops and restaurants. And regardless of where you go the people are amazingly welcoming and friendly. No-one pushes you to buy anything so you can browse at your leisure and make your purchases accordingly. btw, some shops are high end but there are your typical tourist shops for souvenirs and such. A great trip and a wonderful experience.

A good location for a spot of shopping whilst in Quebec, with plenty of cafes to duck into to escape the wintery weather!

This is one of the most scenic and famed cities in Canada. With lots of snow there, it seemed more romantic and suitable for couples, families to go.

You can get down to the lower town from the Dufferin Terrace either by a very steep stairway or by the funicular. Either way it is a great place to visit, filled with all sorts of shops and galleries. Very charming and very quaint. Take the funicular back up to make it easy.
