Awesome park.

Hate knowing they will be closing the road from Mont Royal (Ave Parc) to Beaver Lake. But otherwise a nice park to visit with breath taking views of the city.

It may be a straight up climb but the view is definitely worth it. There is not much food on top of the mountain so bring water

A lovely walk up the Mount - you can decide to walk along designated paths or go 'off piste'. The view back over the city is great. At the top of the Mount is a building which looks pretty unimposing (is there such and word and how do you spell it!). Inside houses the cafe and gift shop - but that's not what's great. Just walk inside and take in the splendour of the great entrance/hall and, if you're cold, warm up by the open fire. Great venue for a party if you had 1,000 friends. I don't!

Beautiful view, clean space. Worth visiting if you are in the area. I would love to visit during summer again.
