It's really nothing special, but if you have a car full of kids or if you're on your way to or from home and you're feeling peckish, it's a good stop. BOOMburger uses meat, cheese, potatoes, bakery products and everything else it serves all sourced from Prince Edward Island. And it offers employment to a lot of youthful Islanders, all of them pleasant and efficient, so it certainly supports the local economy. And it's kept clean. As mentioned, you really have to drive there. It's close to the North River causeway, and it would be a fairly long hike along a busy highway otherwise. The food is the usual thing you'd expect from a fast-food restaurant with "burger" in the title, but the hamburger is good, it can be dressed up quite a bit, and the french fries are cut right there from the bags of island potatoes stacked near the front door. Nothing fancy, but very reasonable and satisfying, and so; recommended.
