It's a small place and can get busy, I would like to tell the customer behind us on our last visit, slow down and enjoy life! Okay so that has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, besides it not the largest restaurant. The staff I have always found friendly and helpful. The food always comes quick and is fresh. The parking can be an issue, there is a paid parking lot in the community centre next door - street parking is always a premium.

We come to Boom pretty regularly since moving to the Yonge & Eglinton area last year. This place looks very small and kind of like a shack from the outside, but when you walk in you can see it goes back quite far and there is a lovely garden patio seating area at the back! My favorite is the BLT Benedict. Yum. The Boom Frites are fantastic: seasoned potatoes wedges. Coffee is good and the refills keep coming. The staff are always super friendly and prompt. Love it!

We've been in Toronto on holiday for a few days and needed a filling break fast.... Boom did not disappoint!

Our server Tye was brilliant.... attentive, helpful and polite with a great sense of humour.

We both had the steak and eggs .. steak was decent quality cooked very well ... poached eggs were good and the muffins that picked up the steaks juices were divine! My fiancee had a mango mimosa which for $5.99 is GREAT value!

Highly recommended!

We will be back.

We had read some good things about Boom Breakfast and even heard a decent referral, so our experience was very disappointing. First we were seated beside the dish deposit station when there were other empty seats around. Our breakfasts came fairly promptly but were disappointing. I had the Boom Power Breakfast which included two extra large eggs over easy - not well cooked, even cold and definitely not XL. My bacon was crisp as ordered but there were only three slices. I ordered rye toast which was one slice only, not buttered ahead, and too cold to absorb butter at the table. The Boom fries were spicy and sparse and not satisfying. The coffee was below average in flavour. My wife ordered the Benny Boom which included salmon. She was not pleased, small bun, small piece of salmon and under-cooked eggs. and did not eat her fries. Finally, it was virtually impossible to have a conversation with clattering dishes nearby and screaming children not far away. Our impression at the end - after breakfasting in the Davisville area for over two years, Boom Breakfast gets the lowest rating around.

Three for breakfast at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. All enjoyed their choices - egg dishes and pancakes. Great coffee! There were several servers - some standing at the bar. A full restaurant with many waiting at the door. Ten minutes to order and twenty more to receive food. Worth the wait but curious that the service is so slow.
