Lots of really great local food and drink, sold by very enthusiastic and knowledgeable locals, lots of samples to try and no pressure to buy ( although we did come out with a trolly load of food and drink) great place to pick up a lunch on the move.

There is definitely lots to see and many vendors to buy from, and if you want to get all your shopping done at one place, and you aren't too fussed about cost, it's an excellent place to shop. As a very budget conscious shopper, I don't shop here but that's because there's a lot of grocery stores in the area that offer similar items for a lower cost. That being said, there are some specialty shops here that you can't easily find elsewhere in Toronto.

Old school food market, best place to treasure hunt when it comes to cheese, meat and fresh veggies.

We used to come here before but have not been lately. Even if it wasn't a Saturday, the choices were still impressive to us after weeks of shopping in the two supermarkets in The Path. We went for the olives and cheese and in there I found my favourite Spanish Ines Rosales flatbread. We also got some pickled mussels from the fishmonger. There are restaurants, too, if you're hungry.
