We've been staying at Ariel's for at least 12 years -- we're on our third owners, and the current ones are aces! The rooms are very comfortable -- they even provide fluffy bathrobes. The breakfasts are great, and they easily accommodate special needs (we are vegetarians). There's a lovely back porch where you can sit in the afternoon and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. The house is very close to the Festival Theater and about a mile, maybe less, to the Avon -- easy enough to walk. We've stayed in a few other Stratford B&Bs, but Ariel's is our fave!

Thank you for sticking with "the brand" and giving us a chance. We know the location was 5 star, so we wanted to be sure we didn't mess the experience up ;) We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Shawna and Dave were so welcoming and accommodating! The beds are sumptuous and I slept like a baby both nights. I have a few food allergies, and Shawna was understanding, as well as very adapt at making beautiful looking AND phenomenal tasting breakfasts!! Chi coconut pudding, beautiful fresh fruit, eggs with delicious vegetables, seed and nut power bars, and the MOST delicious and crunchy gluten free toast I’ve ever had! And, only because I requested, I was allowed to meet Dallas, their sweet dog! (He ONLY comes out upon request, so if you’re not a dog person, he stays in his area...and does NOT BARK!!!) I highly recommend this amazing place!

Kathy H: At ARIEL's one of our philosophies is "it's the little things that count". We are so pleased to learn they all added up to ensure you had a restful and enjoyable visit. "Dallas" although not a "little thing" looks forward to your next visit to Stratford.

Everything about this B & B was top notch including the hosts, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the sitting room, the porch, and the dog :-) . It is an easy walk to the Festival theater, a 10 minute walk to the Avon. Similarly, restaurants are an easy walk away. The breakfasts were delicious and creative. We will return.

Room Tip: Of the three bedrooms, two have queens, one a king.

AuntCarolyn: with the " season" starting early this year we have fallen behind in thanking you for you feedback. It was a delight to share the new property additions and amenities with you - we are so please you had a wonderful stay. "Dallas" is eagerly awaiting his next round of shoulder rubs & pats!

I've been busy at work, and finally have some time to catch up on reviews. My wife and I love the Stratford Festival, and always stay in bed and breakfasts. We'd stayed at Ariels previously, and heard it changed hands recently. We're really impressed by some of the changes made by Shawna and Dave. All of the rooms have been upgraded, the new dining room table(s) is a work of art, and the french toast with cream cheese.is to die for. Can't beat the location, just a block from Festival Theatre on a lovely street, and an easy ten minute walk to the centre of town. Dave and Shawna are a charismatic couple, and genuinely interested in learning more about their guests. If you're looking for excellent Italian food, be sure to check out Pazzo. Upscale taverna upstairs, and an energetic pizzeria vibe downstairs. Looking forward to our next visit to Ariels, and a chance to do the Time Warp again at the Rocky Horror Picture Show !

Ariel's is definitely the place to stay when visiting Stratford! My partner and I have been to other B&B's in the area over the years but Ariel's really takes the cake! We stayed in the Blue Hare Room which was beautiful and incredibly cozy. Shawna and Dave's attention to detail is impeccable! It truly shows in their overall decor as well as in their scrumptious breakfasts. The breakfast is an experience on its own and worth rolling out of bed for! I'm not even an early bird. Definitely visit here if you're looking for a getaway in Stratford with delightful company, superb food, and lots of wine!
