We stayed overnight to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and clean. Great location. We rented bikes from the parking garage and were able to bike along the waterfront trail and stopped at 5-6 wineries along the way. 10-15 minute walk to Queen/Picton Street. Will look forward to staying again!

My wife and I were in from Whitby, for our 30th. The staff at the desk was very nice and helpful, on Saturday I asked about wine tours, and got 4 free taste testing at some great wineries. Breakfast staff were friendly and wanted to serve you. We were impressed by their staff. Free Parking, WIFI and walking distance to lake or to Queen Street. Shuttles to town are also free.

Room tip: If you want a Bath tub, you might want to request.

room was comfortable with a bed that beckoned for immediate sleep. staff were extremely accommodating, supportive and went out of their way to track down a kettle and small fridge the room lacked. no bath in my room but a shower with water pressure that was the best i have ever experienced!! some rooms had a river view that would no doubt be quite tranquil. walking distance to the Shaw and almost backing onto the Niagara River. shuttle service for those who might have mobility challenges.

This was our 3rd stay at the Harbour House, this time taking advantage of the weekday "Spring Fling" special to extend our stay to 5 nights. We love the location, as it is quiet, removed from the hustle and bustle of touristy Queen St., yet very accessible to restaurants, golf, and some of the wineries either on foot or by making use of the complimentary shuttle (which is well worth it for a gratuity). Our room (#208) was a superior king with fireplace and jetted tub. The extra space and sitting area in front of the bay window was appreciated and we did use the fireplace more than we thought we would. We did notice this time that our room was in need of some love! We had several small maintenance issues that were dealt with by the staff in a prompt manner, but in general we feel that in order to compete it is time to spend some money on a refresh of the flooring, paint, and décor. We did have a few security concerns, as housekeeping left the door to our room open after cleaning it one day, the door from the parking garage to the elevator was always open, and the safe in our room didn't work for the last day as the battery was dead. One of the highlights of our stay was going for the yummy breakfast spread in the morning. The staff went out of their way (especially Jamie) to ensure that there were options for a gluten free diet. Coffee was endless and delicious, and it was a great way to start our day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next one.

True meaning of ‘boutique’ hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt the warm welcome. Friendly, down to earth, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. No bar but lots of places nearby. Free shuttle service to take you to restaurants and back. Wine and cheese from 4-6pm which is a lovely touch. You really feel taken care of here! We were here 2 nights but could have stayed a day or two longer.

Thank you very much "nancyf256" for hitting all our highlights! I love nothing more than when our guests say they felt so welcomed and comfortable that it feels like a home away from home.

We would love to welcome back....maybe for a bit of a longer stay!
