My husband is NOT a fancy restaurant type of guy and he LOVED the food here. From what I understand, there's a field to table menu every day that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert for a fixed price. It ends up being cheaper than getting everything separately so I tried to convince my husband to get that, and he did :) but it really did sound good. The appetizer was lemon gnocchi in a meaty sauce, entree was roasted duck with some potato side and squash, and the dessert was some sort of thing that looked like apple crisp with a biscotti, and it was $52 total. The gnocchi were heavenly, and my husband loved the duck (not a fan of duck, myself). I got the beef tenderloin, which I hear is their signature dish, it was VERY good. When I tell you this steak was the most tender meat I've ever seen/eaten in my life, I am not joking. cooked to PERFECTION! I'd pay to know how he prepared this to make it so tender. For dessert, I ordered the apple crumb cake and that was also heavenly. We didn't order any bar drinks. Our total bill ended up around $110 and we had a $50 voucher so that took care of almost half. So I think it was pretty reasonable considering that this is a pretty upscale place. Where you get into trouble is ordering your bar drinks...
Also, before your food comes out, they serve a teeny tiny crisp with olives and some sort of dried meat on it, and they also serve 2 little pieces of raisin bread with butter. So if you're like me and like to chow down on tons of free bread/salad, etc. before your food comes out, this is definitely not the place for that..!! Salad is extra and the bread is definitely not enough to satisfy. But the experience you get at AG is not your typical restaurant experience so it's to be expected.

Are you in the mood for a nice romantic dinner or just for some incredible food and wine pairings? Executive Chef Cory Linkson and sommelier Adam Ashukian work together to provide a primo taste experience! If you are not familiar with the wines of the Niagara VQA, your server will be able to help you find a selection that will pair well with your meal.

This restaurant features the freshest local ingredients possible. The meals are brought to the table with a bit of a flourish by the servers and there is always a review of the specifics of your dish. Of course, you remember that you ordered the lamb, but how was it prepared? What were all of those little details that were under the description on the menu that you forgot? I love this attention to detail. Plus, each dish come out picture perfect! We are looking forward to our next meal here--probably within the next month.

The food was amazing. The service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful. Came here for our NYE dinner and was not disappointed at all. My boyfriend had booked the placed based on reviews on TripAdvisor and i'm glad he did. The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable as well. You have to go downstairs from the entrance and right when you go in, they greet you and take care of your jackets. For people who want a more romantic meal, they have corner booths as well which could be very private. Overall, amazing experience with reasonable prices considering its location and atmosphere (food wise- didn't look at alcohol).
