Well. STEAK night was mistake night.
Group of 4 arrived early evening on a Thursday for steaks.
Placed our orders for 12oz strips. 20 minutes later were told all 12oz strips were sold. They were willing to cut up the 8oz to give 1.5 per person.
We reluctantly agreed but asked why almost a half hour had passed without any update.
The restaurant was not super busy. We saw some empty tables all around.
The server was new. We were patient.
The food arrived 45 minutes after we placed our order.
All 4 steaks were cold
The well done one was well done but cold. His fries were cold too.
The two medium rare were more done than the well done and were also cold.
These meat cuts were less than 1/4" thick and were fast fry cheap cuts of meat. It must be a challenge to cook this meat that is along the same degree of thickness as a patty from a Big Mac to anything other than well done. The so called 8oz fast fry didn't equate to two 2.5oz Big Mac patties in size.
Another oddity was one of our Caesar salads had a French fry in the salad. Nobody at our table even ordered fries.
The one medium rare was also cold but was also well done.
We quickly got the servers attention and indicate our food orders were all wrong. She said she would go deal with the supervisor and solve it. We assumed she did and would be back but nobody came by for 15-20 minutes so we patiently waited and picked at our salads and scallops and at long last one person got up and brought her plate to the bar where she found a manager.
The manager initially passed her off but as she explained what happened he apologized and said he was busy and said the server mentioned she had served 4 cold steaks.
She explained to him again that we came for supper and had been there for almost 90 minutes and had not eaten supper and were leaving frustrated and not fed. We were polite and patient and tipped our server $10 as we left because we knew the entire ordeal wasn't her fault. The cheap cuts. The poor cooking. The cold food. The sloppy handling by management and the fact that the manager didn't even come to our table and apologize to the group and offer a remedy...
He collected our phone numbers and promised the store manager would call Friday. She never called.
We weren't the only folks there encountering issues with our food. We saw at least two other tables at the same time as our mishap had issues with their food. Others left their tables frustrated and not fed.
Make no misSTEAK everything on steak night was a mistake.

They have become hit or miss now. Rarely any better than average and several times a bad experience.

This is a great place to eat, especially if you like wings and quick foods. Have tried a lot on the menu and have never been disappointed. The only downside is if there are of kids, as this is a family oriented place, it can get quite noisy.

We took out kids here tonite . Kids meal at 7.99 were meagre portions which included the drink , main and desert . I had the 12.99 wings and jungle jim's used to be the ruler of wings ..mine tonite were tiny .. and only 2 drummettes in the whole pound. It was disappointing . The service was fine and the environment was comfortable. We won't be going back anytime soon though.Pic below was our takeout smartie pants kids sundae ,we were in a rush so had to take and go. Clearly there's an ice cream shortage at the jungle .
