I contacted Dave's Taxi Tour Guys several weeks ago and received a prompt reply. I had a couple of questions so emailed them back, several times over a 10 day period and have had no response. Are they still in business?

The 14 of us had a great time. They picked us up at the cruise terminal in a private shuttle bus, saw all the sights and had lunch. Great guide and driver.
Thirteen of us from the Crown Princess booked a small bus through Dave and really enjoyed our day with our guide Wanda. We began with a tour of sights in Saint John and the rapids. Then made our way out to St. Martin for a delicious lunch at The Caves Restaurant and a walk on the beach with beautiful views of the Bay of Fundy. Unfortunately, we made it there too late to actually walk in the caves. When we returned to Saint John we again went by the rapids and they truly had reversed. Really fun to see! Wanda was a good guide and made it a point to stop for photo opportunities which we really appreciated.
The only negative - friends who were with a smaller group (also Dave's) left at the same time but spent just a short time in Saint John to see the rapids before heading out to St. Martin and the caves. (Other sights in Saint John were saved til their return.) Because they were there earlier, they got to walk on the floor of the caves which they said was awesome. Very disappointed that this didn't work out for us too! Shouldn't have been too hard to arrange. Not sure who "dropped the ball".
Saw Fort Howe and Imperial Theater where Harry Houdini performed. The theater was closed so we couldn't see inside. Most amazing part of the trip was the reversing falls. The current rushed right when we arrived and 3.5 hours later it was flowing left. We were a week late for the autumn tree colors, but saw awesome views of the ocean, Black River Harbour, and Duck Pond Beach. Saw St. Martin's twin covered bridges and the Sea Caves. Wish we'd had 30 minutes longer there to walk into the caves as the tide was quickly going out. The tour ended at 4.5 hours and we were scheduled for 5 hrs. The fish and chips there were delicious.
Olivette met us at the cruise terminal, beginning a day filled with a customized tour of the Saint John area. Olivette has an extensive knowledge of the area and was able to answer all of our questions and provided local insight. As she got to know the members of our group, she suggested additional stops along the way and provided suggestions about great photo ops as well. Her stories and background info were entertaining. Overall, this was a great experience - soooo much better than a "big bus" tour! Many thanks go to "Aunt" Olive and Dave for a great day with friends.
