we went to 5 different places where we sampled food (4) and wine/beer (1). It was very interesting to get to know the neighbourhood of Powell street/ Railtown and see how it is developing. We'll be back!
Hello alex n,
Thank you for the review, we love getting feedback from our guests. So glad you enjoyed the Railtown Urban Eats Tour. Yes, this is definitely a neighbourhood that is changing, I think it is what Gastown was 15 years ago. We are excited to be showing off this interesting, historic, and authentic Vancouver 'hood. Looking forward to seeing you on another tour,
Bonnie
I was expecting this tour to be fun, since it's about food after all, but I was surprised how much I learned as well. Julie must be the World's Best Guide - she is adorable and so full of information. My friend and I enjoyed it immensely, and it was just the right length. Thanks so much!
Hello Katherine W,
Thank you for the review of our Railtown Urban Eats Tour, we appreciate the feedback. So glad you ejoyed the guiding services of Julie, we are lucky to have her! And like all of our tours, they are much more than just food! Especially our Railtown tour that contains so much history of Vancouver, Japanese immigrants, and architectural history. We think this neighbourhood is one of the most interesting (and tasty) areas of Vancouver!
Hope to see you again,
Bonnie
We come to Vancouver several times a year and were looking for a food tour in a neighborhood we had not yet explored. This was an excellent introduction to Railtown and included 5 very nice stops that we would never have found on our own. It was a lively group of 8 on our tour and after introductions everyone mingled well and shared their food with each other. Got some history of the neighborhood and were shown some historic photos but would have liked to have learned more and would have liked to walk closer to the port to get a sense of place. Food was good, albeit a bit pricey given the cost of the tour plus tip. Also might have been coordinated a bit more as two stops offered tomato soup and two had similar salads. All in all it was a fun afternoon with nice company and worth taking if this area is new to you. If brand new to Vancouver I would suggest the tours in the more popular areas to get acquainted with the larger city first.
Did the Canada 150 Food Tour in Victoria with Bonnie this past weekend. It was fabulous. Great information, interesting stops, and great host. The food samples were generous (not large, but good size sample to get a good taste). The history of Victoria and the food items was fantastic. Bonnie is knowledgeable, passionate, polite, and organized. She even brought little surprises in her backpack for us. The walk is not strenuous, and it is a good pace. It was myself and my husband along with a family of 5 adults from the States, and we all enjoyed the tour.
Hello AJ M,
Thank you for the review, we really appreciate the feedback. So glad you enjoyed the Eat Like a Canadian tour in Victoria, BC. This is our newest food tour and on it we try all Canadian dishes! So glad you enjoyed the stops, the host (me!) and the information provided. Hope to see you again the next time you visit Canada!

Excellent tour of East Village and some of the stories around the neighborhood. We visited 5 different spots with eats or drinks at all. Fun way to get to know a neighbourhood that we probably wouldn't think of eating at. Kate, our guide was very knowledgeable. We will now try a few other of the tours after talking to anotrher couple there that had taken one of the other tours that this co has to offer
Hello Jcanucker,
Thank you for the review, we appreciate the feedback. So glad you enjoyed the Vancouver's Best Brunch tour with our wonderful guide Kate. We love the East Village and think it's a great foodie neighbourhood that a lot of locals and tourists don't know about (yet)!

Myself and 3 co-workers went on the Railtown tour. Our guide (Julie) was great. Very informative and great food. It is the right combination with a little bit of history, opportunity to go to 5 different places, good healthy food, and a little walking in between to get ready for the next bit of food. I would highly recommend this tour to friends or for a work function.
Hello SueVancouver,
Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate the review. So glad you enjoyed the Railtown Urban Eats tour with our fabulous guide Julie. Railtown is the next big trendy Vancouver neighbourhood so it's interesting to see it now before it becomes a tourist hub like Gastown. Great history, cool brick buildings, and independent businesses make this area a unique Vancouver 'hood.
Thanks again for the review and hope to see you on another tour in the future!
