Owner description: Merchants and vendors from all over the area bring their wares here.

This is a very nice market that carries almost anything you might want including artisinal food. You would also find a lot of fresh fruits that you can only see and buy in this market. There is a section where you can also dine in and choose food from the different vendors in the market. I suggest you spend a day here and complete you shopping in one place. I am not however sure if the prices are cheap or more expensive compared to supermarket prices in Vancouver.

The markets are great. There is an excellent selection of fresh produce and baked foods as well as work from local artists. A fantastic array of delicatessen foods.
Venture out of the main markets to explore the area as there is a lot to look at. Even the Ocean Concrete place has interesting art.

An easy trip from Vancouver on the number 50 bus from Downtown to False Creek. Ask the driver and he’ll tell you which stop to get off at. Note, buses require coins not notes for your fare.

The market literally has something for everyone, a sensation for every taste and works of art and craft that capture the character of Canada. Stop here for a snack, to purchase gifts to take home, sample the aesthetic of this region, or simply escape a rainy day-it's a delight

Amazing market place, wonderful little shops inside and enjoyed taking home raviolis.
Reminder: if you are stopping on your way back to the states don't buy any stone fruit or corn as you will spend a loftlu time at the agriculture inspection and then have it confiscated!

Plenty of parking, better to visit during the work day. However, it was still pretty packed on a Friday.

Loved the Granville Island Public Market! The day we went, we were a group of 7. It was so fun to let everyone pick the food they wanted and then meet back together and sample each others! There was something for everyone! All so fresh and delicious! The dessert displays were amazing! Between us all we had sushi, pot pies, pizza, spring rolls, sandwiches....and we all finished with a variety of desserts. Amazing! Enjoyed GI public market much more than Pikes in Seattle.
