I love this hotel, from the moment you step foot inside you are treated wonderful, I met Brett the first afternoon I checked in, he was wonderful, we asked where We should eat and what to see and do and he was so helpful, with maps and lots of information, also Jordan was so helpful to with information on where to eat and what to do these gentleman and the others who work there are so wonderful. Other things they do to make you feel special, they will go over to the elevator and swipe it to get it ready for your use, they open doors for you always say hello/good morning/afternoon/evening. Ask you how your day is, etc. They also have free breakfast and let me tell you breakfast is great, it not fake eggs it’s real eggs and bacon, etc. I ate there for three days and I love the free breakfast it’s great. Also the waitresses and cooks all the people who do the breakfast are so nice. The rooms are great to, not big but they have everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel, you will love it and feel special while staying here.

Thank-you very much for your kind words about our hotel and our fantastic team. We are an independently owned and operated hotel and we take pride in offering our guests the sort of "small hotel" personal service that the big chains just can't duplicate. We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that our team was able to help you make the most of your time in our beautiful city.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any other comments about your stay. Thank-you for choosing the St. Regis Hotel Vancouver.

The St. Regis Hotel in Vancouver British Columbia is a great place to stay. The building is quite old but the interior is very clean and modern. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms are a little small but it’s perfect for a couple. The bathroom is just the right size with a huge shower room. The sink water is delicious right out of the tap. The room was quite even though it’s in the middle of the city. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Brett the concierge was a fabulous host who was able to answer every question we had and gave us some excellent tips on what to do throughout the city. Thank you Brett.

We checked in and both the desk person and the person who took our luggage were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had reserved a junior suite and were not disappointed with the layout or the roomy king bed. There are two TVS, one quite large plus the amenities of a luxury hotel. All fine BUT:
The single elevator is tiny and has to serve for both bags and passengers. It is also slow. At one point we waited almost 3 minutes to go down. I understand this cannot be helped because the hotel is a heritage site but it is an inconvenience.
The breakfast is very average though complimentary. While the coffee is great, the rest of the meal reminds one of mid range Hilton or worse. Fruit is only melon and grapes while the bagel was lightly toasted and came with no jam. I was later given strawberry in a packet. No pancakes, no oatmeal. Really a disappointment when you pay $500 for the room alone.
The hot water in the sink came out in a trickle but was thank goodness very hot. The shower pressure was low. Finally the
A/C was difficult to adjust. Very cold or too warm
For all this the staff was very accommodating. We were able to check our luggage and retrieved it easily prior to departure.
In short, though everyone tries their best, I feel the hotel is overpriced in relation to what it delivers.

Thank-you very much for taking the time to share your review of our hotel. Our team takes great pride in making sure that every guest feels warmly welcomed and we're pleased that you enjoyed the personal service offered at our hotel. As you noted, the single elevator is a feature of our heritage hotel, and wait times can be longer than desirable in high season, but as our hotel is only six floors in height, many guests avoid the elevator on the way down and save it for trips back up.

Vancouver is one of the highest-demand hotel markets in the world during the summer season and room rates reflect this high occupancy and demand. Vancouver is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year, and during the low season, we're pleased to offer guests all the same amenities including complimentary breakfast, worldwide long distance phone calls, FIJI bottled water and much more at rates from $169/night.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any other comments about your stay to share. Thank-you for making us part of your visit to Vancouver.

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was tasteful, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Soft towels in the bathroom and a hot shower were just what we needed after a 10 hour flight. Free international phone calls were a bonus. Breakfast was good and certainly set you up for the day. We had an elderly relative meeting up with us for the next part of our trip and, although he wasn't a hotel guest, the reception staff kindly stored his case and set him up in a comfy chair in the lounge to wait for us.

Great place. Highly recommended.
