I love the pool in the summer as children splash around and have fun. The building is beautiful and when the new museum is open in 2018 across the street there will be two wonderful places to enjoy downtown with the family.

There's lots to like here. It's open longer hours than Calgary's, and there seems to be always something happening, or something to see. It's also much brighter than Calgary's, which is quite dark inside. Both have parkades attached, but Edmonton's is connected to more pedestrian areas - in Calgary, you need to cross the street to get to a bigger open space. But both are near major cultural facilities but I would have to hand it to Calgary for its city hall is closer to more and better cafes and restaurants.

It is great inside City Hall in the winter months they have a farmers market on Saturday's until 3:00PM it is excellent with fresh produce, pies and the best shepherds pie from Crafty Cooks well worth stopping in. Year round if you are visiting Edmonton and in the downtown area well worth the stop here and Churchill Square quite often Food trucks and other activities going on. They also have great events in summer months and the fountain and wading pool great for families visiting on a hot day.

Nothing spectacular. After all, it is a City Hall. Nice wading pool near the entrance. And the tunes coming from the bell tower are a nice break from the city traffic. But it is not a "must see" venue.

City Hall is not only used as a place for offices and for city council to meet, but it's a good public space. They have areas to sit in the front and a pool that is available for splashing and for skating in the winter. They often have interesting public exhibits, and open it up for community events. I've attended farmers markets and presentations here. It's comfortable and a good place for community events. I went here recently to vote.
