Came here twice this year - still as good as last year. Full when we first went in but given a ticket for a table 20 minutes later, well worth the walk around the block. Excellent udon noodles - the broth can be spiced up with sauce from the counter, and good ramen and donburi. It's a shame they run out of the gyoza (nice) and sushi (just OK). Its not the prettiest, but has excellent food and very nice staff, and no-one said "good choice" or "Awesome!" when I made a menu choice, which was very nice...(so far in Banff all my choices have been good (I asked a waitress what a bad choice would have been - she looked puzzled at the question) or awesome - I know this is Canadian conversational hyperbole, but they should look up what it means - food cannot generally be described as awesome).
