Did a solo tour in Dauin, and Acqua Dive came in to address my Apo Island tour problem. Place is great, the Boat Oceana was incredible! Good and friendly boat crew, friendly divemaster (Iris), and great meals.
Will go back again one day :)

Had a great time with Acqua dive! Took my advanced open water course, with instructor Iris. She was very detailed and ensured I knew all the skills required to have a comfortable time underwater. I'd really recommend her if anybody is thinking of taking a course. Plus point about diving with Acqua dive is they will bring you to Apo Island on your dives, which is a must if you are in the Dauin/Zamboanguita area. Good place for snorkeling too!
The premise was also clean, with very good food from the restaurant. Provided hot tea and coffee which is a bonus after a long time out in the water. Staff there are very hospitable as well. All in all, I enjoyed my time there.
had the best anniversary with my fiancee snorkling at Apo Island, thanks to Acqua Dive! it was an awesome and exhilirating experience swimming with turtles and seeing the beautiful marine life. everything is well coordinated, from gears to transportation. crew were all so nice and polite. thank you so much!!!
From someone who is an instructor, have hundreds of dives, and had an extensive macro bucket list.... this place is the best kept secret!
I spent 7 days diving on the house reef with a macro (compact) camera and Ismael (who I wish I could take on all my diving trips). From hairy frogfish to shrimps and crabs of all sorts to the flamboyant cuttlefish. Walk in, walk out. Amazing!
I did not get to go to Apo, which is world famous, but I will definitely be back as soon as practical. Whatever your heart desires, they’ve got it. Even mimic octopus and wonderpus.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and even had international TV channels. Internet was incredibly reliable and strong. Food was good and staff friendly.
Quiet, away from the roads and towns. Worth a go.
My boyfriend and I came to Acqua Dive for OW course. It was absolutely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Acqua is like a family, everyone’s very nice and all staff are super friendly and helpful, they have good humor too. The stay was nice, we booked Junior Sea View room, it has a direct view towards Apo Island. The room is big and has a balcony. Just the bathroom is a bit small and facilities are a bit old. Others worked perfectly well. We had our coach, Mitch to instruct us on this course. He’s professional and strict too. We were lucky to have him teach us, without him I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this course as I’m afraid of the sea(waves). He made me feel safe to go diving and I know I could rely on him too. The last open water dive was to Apo Island, it was the surprising experience as we saw many turtles. In the beginning I thought there’d only be one or two, but it turned out many big or small turtles swimming either on the surface or at the bottom. Watching them was delightful and the corals are beautiful too. BTW, boat crew are kind and helpful too. Thanks Acqua Dive, we liked here, the food was amazing!
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and the food was devine. We stayed in the ocean view room, which was perfectly clean, well maintained and offered a glorious view of the ocean and apo island in the distance. Mitch was our teacher for the open water diving, we couldn't have asked for a better mentor. We had an amazing holiday, and he was a major part of that experience. Very professional, always happy to answer the questions we had and gave us the constant feeling that we were safe. Thank you Mitch and Thank you Aqcua Dive!!!
