I'm a 58 year-old female. I walk 3 miles everyday. I'm probably in a little better than average shape for Americans my age. I was able to do this hike huffing and puffing. It is steep, so that's why the heart rate is up almost the entire time. It is not very scary though. I would not take kids younger than about 12 though unless they've done a lot of hiking. The view is once in a life time. We went a little past where this beautiful view is taken. We spent about 3 hours doing the entire hike. If you have a camelback it is nice to have your hands free. You will need water for sure. Nice to have your hands free because you need them to grab onto trees and the mountain to help yourself up the trail.

Reine is a small town in the Moskenes Area
The town had a Church, Gas Station, circle K Groceries, soccer fields, accommodations, Bus Station and tour or outdoor package services for tourists. To get to the top of the mountains/hills you need to hike. The entrance point is beside the tunnel. There’s a note at the point. It was a simple notification so you might be need to look after it

This hike is not for the faint of heart or if you do not maintain some level of fitness. My brother-in-law and I made it up in an hour and a half and we were moving at a good clip. I'd say plan on two hours to get to the top, take plenty of water, and wear shoes that have strong ankle support and grip, preferably hiking boots. The first part is under the canopy but you get to the exposed section about a third of the way up the climb. When you get to the top, you understand why this is one of the most talked about views in all of Europe. You literally feel like you're on top of the world! No words to really describe the view... bring a camera that takes HD pictures and enjoy the experience!

I will not recommend you to go or not to go. But here is some things you should consider when you make up your mind.

-The view from the top is absolutely stunning. It's a bird's view about islands, villages and mountains literarely rising from the ocean.
-The hike is quite demanding. It is a steep slope. Some points are more climbing than hiking.
-There is hundreds of tourists summiting Reinebringen daily. The trail is undergoing heavy erosion because of that. Sustainably it would be better not to hike this trail.
-Respect the safety issues: if it rains or the terrain is moist, do not go. The rocks are slippery and the slope is steep. Beware of loose rocks, so mind your step.
-Wear sturdy hiking boots. It'll be rough for your knees and ankles.
-The hike takes about two and half hours on moderate pace and some time to enjoy the views on the top.

The view from the top is spectacular. No pictures can prepare you for what you will see. It is simply way better than any photo would imply.

However, the path leading to the top is not a safe one. I would not recommend my parents going up there, and I would not recommend anyone going up there after rain or during winter. But if you are young, or a bit older but still fit, I truly recommend it if the path is dry.

The hike is tough, but in most parts also very fun. The view from the top is one-of-a-kind!
