If you are into thoughtful design and modern art in a boutique hotel setting, this is the place for you. This is not a save-a-seat-by-the-pool-in-the-morning resort. This place is all about style and serenity but with a pulse. Inspiring art installations, attentive staff, and two gorgeous pools + a beach club....all add up to one fabulous stay.

Room Tip: Book a patio room.

The moment we arrived at El Ganzo the staff were welcoming and friendly. Everything from the well appointed rooms with ocean side balcony to the rooftop pool and restaurants were fresh, sustainable, and comfortable. It was peaceful lounging by the pool with out all of the crowds of nearby Cabo San Lucas. We enjoyed taking the bikes out during the day and the live music and community at the nearby gallery. I will book this hotel again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing well appointed vacation.

While staying at another resort a group of about 15 of us were recommended to try dinner at Hotel El Ganzo for the eccentricity and flare that only this hotel has to offer. We were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes by the friendly staff. After being seated on the beautiful patio we began to mull over the menu and drink list. A major shout out to Alfonso who not only gave us recommendations on drinks and entrees, brought blankets to the ladies who were a bit chilly, introduced us to the head chef, but last but not least also escorted our party of 15 on a tour of the hotel. I can not say enough nice things about this man who loves his job and the people who are fortunate enough to interact with him. The food was fresh, pleasing to the palette and the drinks amazing. I recommend the coconut mojito and any type of fish they have for a special that day. Put this place on your map as a destination while in Cabo and you will not be disappointed.

Girls weekend was a resounding success at this boutique hotel that touts Eco-green consciousness and 'artists in residence.'
Constructive critique: more "Eco-green" could be employed through public education and a daily sweep of the adjacent Marina where plastic bottles and bags are afloat in full view from your water view room$
Also suggest re-routing a massive exhaust pipe with noxious plumes that blow back into the hotel near one of the most breathtaking interior fountains.
Visiting artist Miguel Pedroza's magnetic sculptures were way-cool and featured throughout the hotel...and you could 'meet the artist'.
Rooftop pool area that features Instagram worthy, transparent jacuzzi was perfect, save for the repetitive mock-off musak.
Most importantly, please dismantle the egregious DOLPHINS IN CAPTIVIY which is antithetical to the capes nearby wildlife preserves. WILDLIFE is not for our amusement or for El Ganzo's profit. Locals have said that these very dolphins have been physically abused through their 'training'--just so overweight guests and their snot-nosed offspring can RIDE them. Please RETIRE these creatures to a preserve and encourage your guests to spend their TIME AND MONEY at true nature preserves where we humans should see and NOT TOUCH. If El Ganzo wants to be to set an elevated, mindful standard, then please lead the way in harmony with nature's environment...that none of us truly own. The "ride the dolphin" PRISON is an on-sight eye-sore and tarnished the otherwise MEMORABLE vacation for us girls. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at El Ganzo. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was so friendly. The food was delicious too. We will definitely be back!!
The beach was perfect for paddle boarding and the pool was really relaxing. Close to Floras Farm where we had a fantastic meal.
