We had an amazing time! The resort is beautiful and the staff so courteous. You must visit Pilar at the loby bar. We just fell in love with her - she is so friendly and accommodating. Great service! And the view from the bar is incredible. This was our first time in Cabo and I can't wait to go back!

The good:
1. Location is great. It is off the main strip of beach (Medano) so it is private (no vendors) nonetheless still extremely rocky. You can easily get a taxi ($12pp to downtown to the Marina and Medano Beach)
2. The staff is extremely attentive and willing to get you a drink whenever you need. Tony Montana at the bar in the Lobby was excellent and refilled our drinks before they were even finished.
3. The Peninsula restaurant is very good for lunch off their main menu, Rosato (Italian) is great for dinner (only restaurant with AC) and La Taqueria is great for Mexican food.
The bad:
1. Restaurant options are limited for dinner. There is Sushi (extremely underwhelming) Italian, Mexican, Asian Fusion and International (extremely underwhelming as well). All the restaurants are outdoors minus the Italian restaurant so it is extremely hot (not even fans at some!!)
2. No nightly entertainment. There are no specific shows each night minus live music. Most resorts would at least have dancing/karaoke etc nightly.
3. Our room was located in an excellent spot(right at the end of the resort with an amazing view). Nonetheless, our rooms bathroom STANK on and off. We believe it had something to do with the drains. From my understanding we did not have a room that has been renovated so the resort might want to consider that for this section of the hotel.
4. We got $50/day resort credit however, once we got here, we were informed that this is in fact not cumulative and that we could only use it on very select things such as getting stuff of the premium menu at dinner incl. wine, spa treatments and cabana rentals. This I found to be disappointing as well.

The hotel only has air conditioning in the sleeping rooms. It does not have air conditioning in restaurants and common areas. The pools are way too hot. I would never go back to this hotel because you are completely miserable with how hot the common areas are.

Thank you for your comments.

Los Cabos is situated in a dessert region and it does get hot especially during the Summer Months.

Our rooms and indoor food and beverage outlets are air conditioned.

This is a sunny destination (almost all year round) and we provide shade in public areas.
Normally from October through June the weather is spectacular and the humidity is much lower creating almost perfect weather conditions. You can also take advantage of the whale watching experience from November till March.

We hope that you will come back to this beautiful part of the world.

My husband and I have never been to Cabo and found this resort through Costco. It has been fabulous! Make sure if you’re going to book here, book through Costco because it’s a great deal. The food has been amazing and the people are so kind and accommodating. The way the resort is set up, you feel very secluded and there is a beach that is basically private right in front of the hotel. My husband and I have been on cruises before and we were expecting the food to be similar to those, but it is way better! Each restaurant tastes like a five-star restaurant. BLU was one of our favorites because the manager, Selene, was so friendly and helpful. Our waiter, Francisco, gave us great recommendations. And the food was incredible, thanks to Chef Rafael. We loved our trip here and will definitely be back again!

We were there on a trip with our company Pure Romance and it was gorgeous. Food was amazing and staff friendly. Just be mindful smoking is not allowed in most of the resort. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Maid service came twice a day with turn down service.
