After a long walk I was in need of a snack to accompany my coffee so went for a BLT as they had no fresh crab. It was delicious and did not disappoint with succulent bacon and nice thick fresh bread.

A fresh crab sandwich next time I think.

Service was excellent and they even came to find us when they realised they had overcharged us by one pound.

Loads of staff but not organised would not want to be here when it's busy. Came for the crab sandwiches but had no crab so we settled for a cream tea and it was ok but not worth the visit and would not rush back.

Staying nearby and decided to pop into the Sea Shanty which is in a truly stunning location for breakfast. The cafe has a nice interior with a cosy feel to the place. I ordered an egg and bacon bap to take a ay at a whopping £5 and then had to wait what seemed an eternity even though I was the only person at the counter.

When my bap finally turned up I was so disappointed with what I got. Although the bap was a good size its content was pathetic with a single tiny herb sausage and a small fried egg.

Lovely location but food is very overpriced and not particularly good from my experience.

We stopped here for coffee after a long walk. Our first impressions were not great to see so many dogs around the whole cafe. Whilst we appreciate most of the customers maybe dog walkers, where does this leave those of us who don't like to eat with the smell of wet dog under our noses? We did not purchase food for this reason. Even a small "dog free" area could be a benefit and there is room for this. We would have sat outside but it was freezing and raining. This may anger a few people but we are expected to accept dogs where people eat so it would be nice for the dog and cafe owners appreciating how us "none" dog owners feel. When we ordered the coffee there were 3 girls chatting about their hair whilst we were waiting for our coffee, this made us feel uneasy and awkward. The girls were polite when taking our oder but it would have been nice to feel welcomed to the establishment instead of feeling invisible.

We had five good meals; burgers, veggie burger, chips and fish, some soft drinks and a beer A bit basic but it was well cooked and presented. Food was ready within 15 minutes, the cafe was warm and with the view, well priced.Staff were very good and attentive.
