My husband and i stayed here for 4 nights while we were in town for a friends wedding. Lovely small hotel - Only 8 rooms. Staff is very attentive. One note - most of the staff speaks little to no English so make sure to brush up on your Spanish. Breakfast is included with your stay and is pretty good. Menu is in Spanish so again brush up on your Spanish or use Google translate. Our room was nice - ground floor next to the courtyard. You can hear a little bit of noise (staff in the morning and anyone moving stuff around in their room next or above you. It didn’t really bother us. Loved the decor in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Best part is the rooftop bar (you can opt to have breakfast up there). Wonderful view of all of San Miguel.

We stayed one night Jan. 28 - 29; 2 couples. The 4 of us enjoyed our stay, all the staff really worked to make our visit a very nice experience. The bath tub in the bed room was a warm solution agains the cold weather... Free parking with valet super convenient in SMA...

This is a very small hotel very close to downtown San Miguel the Allende, and the view from the roof top is way better that from any other place.
The 8 rooms are really nicely decorated and have all necessary things.
Outstanding service. From reception - they even take care of your car - to the bell boy service, recommendations for sightseeing or restaurants. No questions remain open.
Breakfast has to be decided the evening before, because it is made absolutely fresh every morning. And it is really very tasty. We loved the options. And: Here you have the choice of having your breakfast in your room, the patio or the roof top terrace. We tried the last 2 ones, and due to a chilly morning the brought some heaters to warm up.

Room Tip: Room no. 8 is the best

A great little boutique property! The rooms are beautifully decorated as are the common areas. We arrived early and they stored our bags for us while we walked around the city. We had a small room right off the courtyard, which was a little dark -- I imagine one of the higher floor rooms with a view would be really spectacular. Rooftop views are amazing, and they brought us complimentary water, beer and some yummy spiced / salted corn snacks at sunset. Breakfast was pretty good - tasty chilaquiles and omelette on par with those found at highly-rated breakfast spots around SMA. Housemade chocolates on the pillow at night was a nice touch. Hotel is in a great location (book a massage at "The Spa" right across the street - heaven; and don't miss Kibok Coffee right around the corner). We had some "lost in translation" moments due to our completely inadequate Spanish, which is on us.

Was recommended by a friend who travels to SM often. The room was very clean, freshly remodeled and had amazing rooms. The staff was great - very friendly and attentive. They helped us book taxis to wherever we needed to go including the Leon airport which was convenient. The included breakfast was also very good!

Room Tip: room # 7 seemed to be the largest and had the biggest balcony
