When you walk into Clandestino, you see right away the proprietor has excellent tastes in design. The staff members were the friendliest I've encountered in my weeklong zip through Mexico. The breakfast was something to write home about.
What sold me on Cladestino was its rooftop. The view, thanks to the location on a higher ground than most of the city, is more breathtaking in real life. The street is quiet and near all the action in town but away from the noise.
The room we had was on the petite side but impeccable design made use of every inch. We felt very comfortable here.
Bring your Spanish phrasebook. The staff didn't speak much English. But that's really part of the fun of being in a foreign land, imo.More
