If you are looking for a perfect sound healing experience in Tulum, Azulik will blow your mind. We booked a private sound healing journey session with Maria Carmen and it was a truly one of a kind me tal trip. The session is performed within the Domo—a two-story bamboo room with jade color flooring and expansive energy. It’s air-conditioned and the journey of getting there is spectacular in its own right. The session is part purification ceremony and part sound journey performed using ancient Mayan instruments. With your eyes closed, the meditation takes you to forests, oceans and skies with otherworldly sounds that are hard to place or even comprehend. The level of relaxation is deep and you are left lost for words to articulate your mind’s journey. I highly recommend this as an experience that you will forever hold in your memory.

Me and my bf stayed at Azulik for one night at the end of august and it was the most amazing experience! We knew going into this that the hotel is meant to be an experience with no electricity and really unplugging from your every day life. We were greeted with a nice cold bottle of water at check in and then were introduced to one of their “angels” to show us a tour of the hotel. She took us to the welcome area where they did a cleansing ritual to cleanse you of any negative energies and to walk into this experience with all the positivity and love! This was such a beautiful touch and we loved every minute of it. Our Angel, Michelle was the sweetest and was so kind with answering all of our questions for us. They also share a whats app number with you to text them any requests you may have. The service was beyond amazing!

Our room was jaw dropping and truly a dream. We got the ocean front suite. Our room actually had ac and also a shower (I know some people complain about this… so if you want those amenities I recommend booking the se Villa. I cannot explain what a beautiful experience and room this was. The fact that everything was eco friendly and the design of the rooms feel like you are in the most unique piece of artwork. The whole resort is truly jaw dropping and magical.

When the sun is setting they have a ritual in one of their nests to say good bye to the sun and welcome the moon. Another amazing experience with the most jaw dropping views.

I highly recommend to go to this resort if you are ready to experience something very different and beautiful. It is a bit difficult to stay longer than just a few days because they do not have a pool and if you are staying in any other room from the ocean Villa it can be very difficult with the heat. Regardless this is something to experience even if it is for one night.
