Extremely glad we did this excursion. We had such a great experience with Geo the dolphin and the trainer (Edgar or Edward I think)
We booked straight through the website using the chat feature as you can request the deal of the day so we got the swim adventure for $69 each instead of $139. We then had to pay a $10 tax each and $16 dollars each for a small coach to pick us up in the morning and then take us back to the hotel.
Ferry ride from Cancun to isla mujeres was beautiful and lasted around 40 minutes and included pastries and drinks.
Pictures are expensive, I ended up getting a couples package of a CD with all our pictures, 3 printed pictures and you can access them on the app for $120 but it was so worth it and I’m glad I paid for it to have the memories forever.
Buffet was lovely! And so were the drinks expect the drinks from the dispenser machines started going warm in the afternoon.
All in all, had an amazing experience and I would defo recommend!

Absolutely amazing, the only critism would be it is a little rushed when booked with the Garrafon Park experience but that is because there is so so much to do and see so no reflection on the 5* rating we have provided. We booked at the hotel through TUI and had a private catamaran ride over to Isla Mujueres and back. If you want photos it's $75 for the full package cannot buy individual pictures so need to take money or card. We were not told about that before we went so missed out on the photo package but still an amazing day. Lots of time with the dolphins, manates, stingrays and nurse sharks. They also have sea lions there but our package didn't include them. Brilliant day and Garrafon Park is equally as beautiful absolutely gorgeous scenary. Zip wires across the turquoise sea and snorkling round the reef! Highly recommend as a day trip

I have never done swimming with dolphins before so wasn't sure what to expect but I loved every minute! We weren't staying on Isla Mujeres so we got the ferry from Playa Langosta. We couldn't fault the organisation of the trip. On the ferry, we had drinks and snacks included and once we arrived at Dolphin Discovery, all our food and drink was included too. Our experience was at 10:30am. I would recommend this time so you have the rest of the day to explore the island. We paid for the 'Swim Adventure Memories' package which included photos, we were glad we did this as we have the memories to keep. The dolphins are in their natural environment, despite still being in an enclosure, but they are definitely well looked after! We got to do a lot with the dolphins; a kiss, handshake, body board foot push and a belly ride. It was amazing! At Dolphin Discovery, they also offer a free boat trip to 'Downtown' (the main part of the island). It was great to see somewhere new and they have a beautiful beach there!

The Good: My family thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the manatee; the sea lion & the dolphins. MJ was great & the information she gave about the animals was great.
The Bad: The package we bought was Royal Swim VIP, which was described as including a printed photo, a cd with all photos; swim with sharks & a bike tour to downtown. Plus access to the VIP section with private pool & better restaurants for lunch. VIP is simply not worth the cost. The food in the restaurants was horrible (better food in regular buffet). The VIP pool was a small lap pool which was missing tiles & the area was no different from the open area.
The Ugly: The staff are more concerned about selling you extras than giving you what you already paid for. We never received the shark swim or the bike tour & nobody seemed to know what was going on. This place is so disorganized. We asked 3 times where we were supposed to go for the encounters & were told 3 different things. After the encounters they tried to tell us we had to pay more for the cd. We told them we already had & after checking with someone they agreed it was included. They really need to train their staff better and get it together. Unfortunately the disorganization, disinformation & focus on upselling takes away from the overall experience.

4 of our party swam with the dolphins and loved it, but the visit was rushed and very crowded with little shade or places to relax. Don't go there just to relax. There are a couple pools, but no beach. The food, however, was the best we had while in Mexico!! If you are watching family members with the dolphins, there isn't really a comfortable place to watch and you are really too far away to really enjoy it. I wished we would have selected a different dolphin experience. The dolphins are in a very small sectioned off area of the ocean and the other animals are in even smaller areas. It was actually a little sad.
