The hotel is *very clean* & the rooms are very good condition & with a modern silent air condtionner !! The staff is great !!!special thanks for Emily Escodedo , Karen Baragas aslo for the fast waitress girls : Keira and Luisa seving meals & drinks , the cafeteria needs more choices for the food , You need to reserve at the lobby if you want a good meal like the Italian (night) meal & the B.B.Q on the beach !! Close the downtown 8 to 10 minutes walk , i enjoyed my trip !! i went there for a new place to see in Mexico , even if i do not do any water sports experience ... Great place to rent a Scooter about $45. for the hole day !!! temperature was between 28 to 30 degres celsius amazing .. shopping center very close , ONLY 10 minutes from the Airport . Have fun if you go there !! from Marcel

My boyfriend paid for an all inclusive stay for two but when we arrived in the hotel, they told him the stay is for him only. Perhaps, the third party booking agency made a mistake when they made the reservation. Either way, after the miscommunication was resolved between the booking agency and hotel, I was told it was ok for me to go into the room after waiting 3 hours in the hotel lobby. I got into the elevator with 3 bags, and the hotel security PLUS front desk personnel stopped the elevator and rudely and publicly pulled me out. This was the same person who gave the ok to go up. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EMBARRASSED. This should be a 0 star resort. It’s only the first day but I won’t be recommending this place after the way I was treated.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced yesterday.

Doing some research, we found that your reservation was made through expedia, for only one person.

For this reason, upon arrival, the reservation holder was asked to pay for the additional person.

The wait that you mention was not due to us, but because the agency did not resolve it and because the reservation holder did not want to pay the special rate that was being charged, in view of what happened with Expedia.

We hope that during your stay you will give us the opportunity to give you the service that characterizes us and we are at your service at the front desk, where you can contact us.

This property rating is solely for Kiera. If you really want to know about the property, drinks, food, hotel room, etc., read other reviews as they all offer personal perspectives that run the gamut from Fabulous! to Dear God! Who is running this place?

For Keira, her truly-deserved, 5-star rating is due to her work ethic. Over the course of the 6 days I was there, Keira greeted every guest with a smile as she took and promptly delivered drink and food orders poolside.

Be they retired couples from Texas, newlyweds from Kansas, eclectic members of Diveheart in Cozumel for dive therapy, ladies of a certain age on holiday to recover from their latest Mexican nip and tuck, or drunken, handsy doctors who unabashedly owned their outdoor voices, Keira treated each one as if they were royalty.

Keira's well-seasoned ability to relate to all of these people was one of the highlights of my stay. She took care of everyone, and she did so with a smile that I think was genuine. I so enjoyed watching her interact with everyone.

Solo diving trip in December 2022. Got the all inclusive package which includes all meals and drinks. The food is mediocre, not a ton of taste but good for the price. Rooms were decent staff was wonderful. I did have a room by the road which was kind of loud, but It had a nice balcony. Great spot to do a week of diving, will be back again sometime. The dive shop is right across the street and you can take the tunnel under the road if you want. Very convenient and good dive operation.

Pros: super friendly and helpful staff; walking distance to town. Cheap.

Cons: dated facility with spartan rooms and aging infrastructure. No hot water for two days. The food - terrible, and that’s being kind.

Read the positive reviews with a critical and indeed skeptical eye.

We are sorry that your experience was not what you expected. I will share your review with the staff and take it into consideration, we are working in the remodelation of the entire resort, and still a work in progress.

Regarding the food and lack of hot water, I hope you can see from our other reviews that, your situation is the exception and could not be further from our high standards. The resort is working to resolve this kind of issues as soon as possible and make sure it doesn't happen again.

If you decide not to come back, it is fine, but from the bottom of our hearts, we hope you can give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
