On arrival given a room that was already occupied, then another that key did not function. They had under ground garage that provided cheap but tight parking. Room was fine, food was nice, waiter was race but choice !imited. Not much locally within walking distance other than a subway and market shop. This perfect for close to airport and one night stay, but not a holiday location.

We got in kinda late to drive to our ultimate destination so we just needed a bed for the night.

After our 5+ hour flight with only 2 bags of peanuts and a beer on-board we apprehensively ate at the hotel restaurant. We ordered and then sat back with a beer and smiled as we watched Ramon the server juggling a full restaurant single-handedly with ease - Nice job Ramon! The thing that caught us by surprise and we were really shocked was how good the food was for dinner as well as breakfast - Hats off to the cook.

WORD TO THE WISE: If you have a room with a common door to another room than you may need to get some ear plugs because towels under the door didn't work.
We heard the entire events of a ladies trip from Canada...from her, "OMG you gotta wear sunblock story" to her getting hit-on all day at the beach..from the strong Tequila drinks to what color bathing suit she was going to wear tomorrow. Holy mackerel.. Two hours of it.

CAUTION: The parking lot under the hotel is VERY tight and is better suited for mopeds at best. Use your driving partner to help guide you around the pillars or you may be forking out some cash to the car rental company at trips end.

Bottom line:
Good hotel for a quick one-niter and wear ear plugs as needed.

We booked the Comfort Inn Cancun Aeropuerto for our last evening in Cancun prior to a flight. We arrived early and were not able to check in, with little other interaction from staff. Following eating lunch in the restaurant we went outside for a walk and realized that there are not very many places to go nearby other than a convenience store and car rental shops. On return to the hotel the staff offered no acknowledgement and we wandered around until we found the second floor business center with a couple of sofas to sit until check in time. Because it had rained there was not a roof top happy hour and there were few other options for entertainment or activity other than to return to our room and watch TV. The room was adequate with basic amenities. No fridge...etc, but breakfast was included. We were disappointed that the hotel is not allowed to provide transportation to the airport and discovered the taxi stand down the street on our own.
Checking out the view from the roof via the front stair case was the best part of the stay.

Room Tip: Room with 2 double beds seemed cramped.

We stayed at Comfort Inn hotel for a night because we had an early flight out of the Cancun airport the following morning. The hotel staff was pleasant and the hotel room was clean enough. However, the hotel has not been kept well. Everything was outdated. The room was not properly ventilated and continued to have a weird odor during our stay. The AC did not work. The extra security lock on the door was removed. There was no fridge in the hotel room. Some light bulbs were burned out. The shampoo smelled like dish soap. The shower and the sink faucets were clogged which caused the water to spray everywhere. In addition, the shower didn't drain properly so it continued to pool during the shower. The State Law does not allow the hotel to provide shuttle service to the airport but there is someone at the hotel to arrange taxi to the airport. There is a restaurant located in the hotel lobby and the food was okay. I will not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend staying here.

We booked this hotel for one night because our resort was fully booked and we couldn’t check in until the next day.
They have a hotel shuttle from the airport that will pick you up at the MAIN entrance which is not the entrance that the tour company’s pick you up for the resort. Our mistake but we did get to look around the new arrivals area and have a few $5 Corona...
Check in was fast and the desk staff spoke very good English.
Room was very basic...Cuba basic. Hard beds, no face cloths, noisy but cold AC, white on white Décor, no hairdryer and the tv was impossible for us to operate. Wifi was fast
Our room was on the parking lot side of the building close to the main road. But we weren’t bothered with noise.
Fairly modern bathroom with lots of hot water. Nice towels. There was a sign asking to deposit use TP into a waste paper basket...YUKE!
They provide 2 free bottles of water at the coffee station in the room. We had dinner in the restaurant. We did have a language problem but did receive some very very good authentic Mexican food which was very inexpensive. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet before heading to our resort.
If you want there is a Burger King a short walk plus a convenience store with a subway sub...
For our one night stay this place was perfect and we will stay again.
