We just arrived home after a lovely 5 nights at the Casa Turquesa. We had never stayed at a Boutique hotel and were worried that we should have booked one of the larger all-inclusive resorts. We were so glad we chose this hotel. The atmosphere was lovely and just what we were looking for. It's a charming hotel with a marble staircase entrance and quaint seaside rooms, all with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. What made this hotel so exceptional were the people. The staff were so welcoming, from Walter at reception, to all the waiters in the restaurant and bar. We especially enjoyed Guillarmo, Oscar and Mauricio. (thanks for the spanish lessons!). The manager made us feel like old friends and went out of his way to greet us and make easy conversation. We were on the all-inclusive package and had all our meals at the hotel. They offered a variety of meals from international to Mexican and Mayan choices. Every meal was a delight and even though we had to wait a little longer for our food, we knew it was being made fresh!. They never allowed our drinks to be empty!
If you are looking for a party, do not choose this hotel. If you're looking for a lovely, romantic and peaceful place to stay, I would highly recommend the Casa Turquesa!More
