First thing I noticed when I saw Iglesia de San Francisco was that it was slanted. Traveling around Europe this is pretty typical for older buildings. You can find interesting historical facts on this church online. Apparently there have been a few other churches built at this location but due to the soil they were rapidly sinking and had to be torn down. I feel there will be a fourth church in the future. According to Wiki, at one point this church was one of the more famous monasteries in all of Mexico City. Different topic, this church is beautiful both internally and externally and is worth a visit. It is on the pedestrian plaza near the tile building.
