We had an emergency situation and had to extend our stay in Juarez by a week. We chose this hotel partially because it is advertised as a business hotel and we needed a reliable internet connection to stay in touch with our attorney.
We questioned our decision as we entered lobby. The photos that are advertised do not represent the current condition of the lobby and the same for the room photos. It's a bit rundown and dated.
The WiFi connection to the hotel router was strong but the router connection to the internet was VERY unreliable and often very slow. We constantly lost important data connections even when just using social media.
No English TV channels, bad cell area (no fault of hotel) and lack of Internet forced us to check out a day early.
On the positive side, location is good. Close to historic sites, good shopping and some great restaurants. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Except for one waiter who has VERY unsanitary habits when cleaning and setting tables.
If we returned to Juarez we would not stay here again but would chose one of the hotels we walked passed daily that were in the same price range.More
