this is our third visit to Ao Nang Princeville Resort . Cosy and comfy place for families . with various types of room you can choose . a good resort for muslim traveler . strategic locations where everything is just walking distance .

for muslims not to worry to enjoy your stay here as this resort provides halal foods and facilities for prayers .

you may want to try their spa and massage center . not to worry as they can provide male masseur for muslim . remember to book early . if you happen to be here and would like to give a try . you may go for the aloe cooling therapy . where you'll get a coffee body scrub . aloe massage and foot massage at only 990 baht .

other facilities like pools are just fine to enjoy . even their breakfast are just so awesome to enjoy . give a try for their snack time and enjoy dinner here . they serve really good food for foodies .

if this is your first time to Krabi . I would like to share something as a tips . at the main entrance . on your left side you may enjoy a street burger/sandwich with a fruit shake nearby the souvenir and bags shops . and also there is ice cream shops too . you may choose either movenpick or hagen dazs .

while on your right side . you'll find more shopping for souvenirs . McDonald's . watsons's and convenient store . remember . most fast food restaurant is not halal in Krabi .

Krabi is the best place for thai street food . my favourite is the pad thai noodles . located nearby krabi tipa resort . few selections of fried noodle . fried rice and chicken satay . you can enjoy their coconut ice cream too

i'll share some of my pic for your reference . unlucky some of it has been deleted by accident . you may go to my instagram page, please scroll for more . my IG is : faidhi.hizam (photosbybob)
or refer to my hashtag #bobshortgetaway #bobfoodjournal #projectphotobob #darilensabob

have a great visit to Krabi .

All depends on what room you get- fist we got the room on 1st floor next to receptory and it was awfull- humid, old, dark and dirty paint on walls- desperatly needs renovation. We change the room and got much better on 3rd floor by the pool- walls were clean and everything newer and less used and not smelly of humid. Breakfast bit boring but for us ok. Staff nice. Pool quite big in the middle of inner area at the reception. To get to the Beach just cross the street. For people who want to party, in the middle of vibrant and busy streets full of night life, shops etc.. yet the hotel is quiet as in second line form the street. To have fun, dine, shop, buy trips and all the centre of the crowdy main street area .

Based directly opposite the beach. Hotel was lovely. However try not to get allocated a room in block one. Music from the boogie bar goes on very late is loud!. We couldn't even drown it out with the tv. Exchanged rooms no problem though.

I stayed for a week. It's got a great position and has friendly staff but it needs a bit of maintenance/new consumables here and there. My bed was awful ( you could feel the springs) , which I mentioned but they just added a topping which wasn't enough. The safe didn't work initially, the late checkout ( I hoped for between 1 and 4 hours) was possible with extra money , after I had been told the hotel was full (though no mention of money was made when original enquiries were made).

This hotel could be perfect again with small bits of maintenence, and allowing the staff on duty a bit of power to make sensible decisions to help its customers. I can see why it won awards in 2014 and 2015 and I can see why it didn't in 2016.

The breakfast was great.

The hotel is a 40min drive from the airport and in the best possible location in Ao Nang. Easily accessible to shops, restaurants, family friendly bars and money changer/ATMs. All these amenities are immediately outside the hotel.

The Hotel's facilities are average at best. The hotel needs renovation badly. No elevators for rooms on the 3rd level so be sure to request for lower floors if you have large or heavy baggage. Rooms are decent size for families but air conditioning quality is poor. My room was still warm despite the hotel engineer checking and "fixing" the problem.

Do not purchase the breakfast option as the quality of the breakfast buffet (200baht) is poor. You get many better choices immediately outside the hotel. Also note that the hotel is Muslim friendly, thus no pork or alcohol (beers or spirits) are served.

The swimming pool water seems rather still and stale and does not seem to have a pump generator to keep the water fresh. The spa standard is good and worth the price which is only slightly higher than the roadside massage shops.

For SG$90 per night, you may be able to get better accommodation along AoNang. However, the location may not be as good as Princeville.
