The 1-bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered a nice variety and everything was fresh and delicious.

The service at the restaurant was a little impersonal, but other than that everything was great.

East Garston is a lovely little village and a great base for exploring the beautiful North Wessex Downs.

We met as a family and have to admit we just picked the pub out of the Good Pug Guide - and what an excellent choice we made! Once through the door you see a warm cosy but up-market venue with traditional bar/dining and a very nice dining area just beyond. With table service we orderd a selection of mains; roast beef, roast lamb and I had the whole Torbay Sole. Everything was as it should be, good ingredients, good presentation and excellent quality. We stared a cheeseboard to finish, comprising a selection of local cheeses, fancy crackers, pear chutney, grapes and celery. We ended with our usual Americano and hot milk. This is not a cheap Sunday lunch venue - everything exudes quality and we now have to find a reason to return!

Three years ago we ceased to use this restaurant due to escalating prices, falling quality and awful service. Having been given a gift voucher however we re-visited with not much enthusiasm.
How things have changed! We were welcomed warmly as soon as we entered, shown to a table with new comfortable chairs and delighted to find food, service and value as 'good' as it used to be 'poor'. The new management and staff have done an excellent job.
Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Queen's Arms! The bedroom was very nice. Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed & a great shower in a big bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. And a nice pub for a few pints. We will be back!

Second visit to Queens Arms. Lovely rooms - Hunter first time and Orvis the second time. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The breakfast is fabulous. Great choice of cooked breakfast and selection of cereal, yogurt or fruit. We were out at 7 am to visit a horse training yard and the staff very kindly gave us breakfast even although we were late back. Very friendly staff.

Room Tip: Both rooms we have had were very good. Think they will all be similar.
