I must admit im not familiar with Indonesian food. But when Chef Robby Setiawan introduce the Bumbu Bali Chicken, chicken Sate and sambal to name a few im a now a fan! Sate is not just a fine dining in San Nicolas, it has a heart of Ilocos because the Chef combine the local ingredients to make it more authentic. The resto is so cozy that make you feel more comfortable and with the warm welcome of the owner and staff its really a place to be away from home. So for all fellow travelers and kababayan include Sate on your visit up north and taste and see the difference. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #itsmorefuntoeatSate #SateSanNicolas

I have been living outside the Philippines for more than 10 years and probably travelled half the world...having colleagues and roommate from Indonesia for few years exposed me to different Indonesian food and appreciate their cuisine as well.
I have tried Indonesian restaurants in one of my visits in Netherlands as well as in Dubai but Sate restaurant was still the best ever! My all-time favourites: Satay, Soto ayam and Lemongrass tea…they nailed it! Chef Robby, Owner of the restaurant was himself an Indonesian so that’s made a difference too!

It’s a must to visit and highly recommended for tourists or living in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte looking for new palate taste.
