Open Deck is a fantastic addition to Bequia's list of restaurants, especially since l'Auberge has closed. It's fun to get to, and is truly a dining experience, not just a meal.
The hospitality shown to us was energetic, friendly, warm, inviting, you name it. Chef Patrick came to the table to describe each course, and ask if we had any restrictions and he happily accommodated us. He also offered our two children a more kid-friendly option, which was greatly appreciated. Both kids opted for the 5 course tasting menu anyway, and they were so glad they did!
We all thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening -- adventure of getting there, the friendliness of the staff, the food, the drinks, the location, the ambience, everything.
Things to note: All tables were served at the same time, so there was a bit of a wait for other parties to arrive; it was a set 5-course menu; welcome cocktail (or mocktail for kids or non-drinkers); our most expensive meal on the island (but worth it for a special night out)
