My partner and I have just returned from a three night stay at Gwesty Ty Newydd. A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel. The room was immaculate and the view stunning, the food was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. If there is a better location for a hotel, I haven’t found it yet.

Wow what a fantastic place,We had the love room for one night with view to die for.The room was immaculate well presented and the food was very good.Just one minor thing was on the evening in the restaurant/bar,A young man came in obviously very intoxicated and proceeded to make a nuisance of himself but in all fairness a young lady could be heard telling him to be quiet, this in no way detracted from our enjoyment of this fantastic hotel.
We are hoping to return in the autumn as we just love this place.

Room Tip: The love has a epic sea view

We had a room with a full sea view - and a very special view it was too, with the beach starting where the hotel terrace ends. The bed was huge, and comfortable, and warm despite the low temperatures outside. The menu has a good range and variety and is well priced, and whilst the bar is at one end of the restaurant, we found that this added to, rather than detracted from our dining experience. At the risk of sounding condescending, there was a real sense of being welcomed in to share somewhere that is clearly part of the local community, which is probably hospitality in its true sense. I was concerned about parking (we are not NT members so did not have free access to the large NT facility in the village), but the limited spaces that the hotel has available, albeit a few metres away back over the bridge, worked for us. This was a spur of the moment choice; three nights to celebrate a special birthday. We were very fortunate to have three amazing days weather wise, but even more fortunate to find Gwesty Ty Newdd.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view.

Very friendly staff, willing to help, chat and advise. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful, interupted view of the coast, sea, sunrise and sunset! Gorgeous!! The bathroom was fresh and fully equipt with everything you need. The food was tasty and served with a smile. Would definently come here again, bringing friends and family, younger and older. Thank you Gwesty Ty Newydd!

We have had three wonderful days at the Gwesty Ty Newydd. Our room overlooked the beach and we awoke each morning to the sounds of waves crashing on the shore. I cannot fault this hotel either in terms of the room or the delicious breakfasts. We will definitely come back.
