We go to Izi every year when we visit St. Maarten, and we have a great meal every time. This year was no exception. We visited on 3/4/2021, and had a wonderful dinner. We started with the special burrata appetizer, served with prosciutto, charred cherry tomatoes, and a little pesto on top. The cheese was delicate and smooth, contrasted with the saltiness of the prosciutto. Our second appetizer was the fried calamari -done to crispy perfection. I had the Chilean Sea Bass entree with a Parmesan crust, served with a broccoli purée and a puff pastry vegetable tart. My husband had the seafood pasta - delicious. For dessert we chose to split a mango panna cotta, so smooth. We ended the meal with an espresso and complementary Limoncello. The servers were polite and attentive, and David, the owner helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine.
