This was a fun experience for our family and was something unique you can’t do other places. Fun to cover up in mud and then wash off in the natural hot springs.

This is a must do when visiting Soufriere! The mud from the sulfur springs made my skin soft and it was a cool experience knowing you were in a volcano. Just remember to wear an old bathing suit or shorts because I’ve had trouble getting the sulfur smell from mine.

Truly a unique experience to go to and see an active volcano and experience the hot springs. Our excursion brought us to the botanical gardens to see all the different plants and flowers the island has . Then we got to experience the waterfalls and lastly see the active drive in volcano where we got to experience the mud and the hot springs .

There are few times you get to bath in the warm waters of a volcano. I highly recommend this experience. Just be prepared to smell like sulphur, aka rotten eggs. I would recommend clothes that you do not mind throwing away unless you have the ability to get them washed before putting back in your suitcase.

They say the sulphur has healing powers, so I am looking forward to growing back the hair on my head!

This was part of a Covid approved tour from our hotel.Booked through nexus tours and a 1/2 day cruise on Calypso Cat one of Seaspray Cruises ( I couldn't find this specific tour to review) .Soufriere is taking its Covid precautions seriously .Arriving at the harbour through a metal controlled gate we had to wear masks, give room numbers and had temperature checks before getting direct onto coaches up to the mud baths. The mud baths are 38C ,there are 5 steps down into the hot mud .Very soothing and relaxing. After soaking in the mud we had hand designs painted on There were shelves to put personal belongings on and showers round the back. From the entrance you could see across a bridge to the volcano - but trips up there were not included on this trip. There were a few vendors selling souvenirs and snacks at the entrance. The bus stopped on the way down to allow photos to be taken of the Pitons and the lovely view over colourful Soufriere.Unfortunately due to Covid trips into the town were not allowed.
