My friend and I stayed here this past week for the entire week. First of all, it's a beautiful place, even prettier than pictures, and it's super clean and unique with Cuban charm. The small size of it means extra attention from the staff all who were amazing, beyond helpful (they helped with us a money situation as cash got short, ironed my shirt, called us Taxis, etc.) and they all spoke English.
Our room was cool with AC, well lit, had a full-length mirror, hot shower and a blow dyer. All ideal things for a girl getting ready :) The bed was extra large and comfortable with a quiet night sleep.
The uniqueness of this place was definitely my favorite part though. The lobby has a piano and guitar free to play. The artwork all over the hotel is original work by the owner - who we got to meet and he was just a gem of a person as was his wife. He even signed some artwork for us that we bought.
As far as location this place is walking distance from markets, wifi cards, currency exchange booths, great lunch spots, Fabrica de Arte (a must see) and more. And is a very quick cab ride into Old Havana.
I've traveled a LOT internationally and I just can't say enough good things about this place.
