See the animals and have a lovely time, just don’t visit the over priced cafe unless you want a big wait after a ‘kitchen mix up’ for a small portion, with one ketchup bottle for the whole cafe to share. Take a packed lunch, don’t forget to wash your hands after stroking the animals!

Thanks for taking the time to review...the day in question we had indeed sadly run out of our usual ketchup sachets and had to manage with a backup bottle of which we did indeed only have one. We have to run our stocks down at the end of December, the day in question was our last day open before Christmas and as we were lovely and busy we did run out which can happen. Sorry this impacted negatively on your visit. In terms of you referring to us as "over priced" we would be very interested to know which items you had as we feel we are extremely fairly and competitively priced both in terms of the local area and certainly compared to other attractions. Knowing exactly what you had would enable us to look at these items and consider. Customers are of course always welcome to bring a packed lunch if they prefer and yes, we concur, WASH YOUR HANDS throughout your visit!

Recent trip to the farm with my kids was relaxing and interesting. Easy to get to, park and see the animals.

Over the last year or so I have spent a lot of time going to the community farm, mainly for the baby and toddler groups that take place on a Tuesday and I have a fondness for the farm after the time I have spent here, including visiting Santa last year.

I was however very disappointed on my most recent visit. My husband and I took our daughter to the farm today to visit Santa. We had a lovely welcome in the shop when we arrived, and all was going well until we went to visit Santa.

Santa was not that engaging although he was friendly enough, but having paid for our ticket I was amazed that a member of staff interrupted our visit to come and offer Santa a cup of tea and ultimately have a chat with Santa, as we were visiting. This was unbelievably rude especially as this member of staff completely ignored us!

I won’t be taking my daughter to the farm next year to visit Santa, and no longer attend the baby and toddler groups anyway so probably won’t be back for a long time now, if at all.

Thanks for taking the time to share your comments. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your trip to Father Christmas this year..what is confusing to us was the cup of tea visitor but upon investigation, we think this was one of our volunteers and obviously very inappropriate. We have discussed as a management team to try and ensure that no such thing happens again. None of our management team were aware of any feedback like this on the day as we could have tried to make amends.

It is a shame that following what sounds like many positive experiences here at the farm that you would not come back based on this one but of course that is your choice. As you probably know we have a wide range of seasonal events that take place throughout the year and it would be a shame to miss them all due to this one visit.

I visited for the 1st time with my 2 year old. It was raining but there was lots indoors for us. The cafe is cosy and great quality too...the cakes are amazing!!

We went for the Greenmeadow Show, having been many times on normal days.

Once again we all had a thoroughly enjoyable day - our little girls, 2 & 4, had a whale of a time looking at and feeding the animals as usual. They also loved the mini-circus (clowns, not animals) in the big top, the craft activities and the marshmallow-toasting in the woods.

We had lunch in the cafe - they eat most of their children's meals (5 item box) and we enjoyed our good too - ham, egg & chips (if I recall correctly).

Unsurprisingly, we'll happily go again.
