Best place and outstanding service!!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 12, 2024
Our suite was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The room boasted a comfortable bed, a large flat-screen TV, a well-stocked mini-bar, and a balcony that provided breathtaking views of the golf course and surrounding mountains. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a bathtub and a separate shower area with high-quality toiletries.

The resort offers a plethora of activities and facilities to keep guests entertained. The 27-hole championship golf course is a dream for golf enthusiasts, well-maintained and challenging. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, the fitness center, and the spa, which provided a range of rejuvenating treatments. For those traveling with kids, the playground and various outdoor activities make it a family-friendly destination.

The dining options at The Suites At Mount Malarayat were exceptional. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delectable local and international dishes. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a wide range of choices to suit all tastes. The food was always fresh, and the service was prompt and courteous.

Our stay at The Suites At Mount Malarayat was a rejuvenating and delightful experience. The combination of pristine natural beauty, luxurious accommodations, and exceptional service made it a perfect retreat. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply a place to unwind, this resort has something to offer for everyone.

Stayed here several years ago and disappointed to see that it’s still not refurbished nor updated in design . The room was relatively clean but extremely strong smell of fabric softener (carcinogen). Very dark and not holiday feel. The location is nice but I guess it’s about time to do something to increase the joy of being in this place, room rate was not value for money.

Room tip: Not value for a staycation if you are not a golfer.

We had a family get-together at this hotel a day before New Year’s Day. We, specially the kids, had fun running around, swimming, biking, and fishing.

The hotel rooms were clean and big enough for families with kids. The food at the restaurant were also good and reasonably priced.

Very nice lake and golf course views. The place is family-friendly. It’s already [my] third visit at this hotel and I still liked the overall experience.

My husband and I visited The Suites at Mt. Malarayat again after many years and this time with our son. As we had not been travelling out-of-town since the pandemic, our son really looked forward to going out. Overall, we had a great family weekend as the place wasn't crowded and there were so much space to walk and run around.

The restaurant food was good and there's al fresco option. The room and facilities were well-maintained. The staff were courteous and helpful.

We particularly enjoyed biking, swimming, and fishing.

Located close to the chaotic Lipa City, this place is a real oasis for people seeking some peace and quiet. It's huge, mostly with lawns for golfers, but they also have a swimming pool, a restaurant, a spa, and other amenities. There are also various types of accommodation which are very relaxing and calm. I highly recommend this place. It's perfect for a weekend hide away. :D

Room tip: Google and waze are misleading. Just go straight to the place's main gate (or gate 1).

Check-in was ok, but I didn't like the fact that they disclosed dress code rules upon check-in only and not in the email reservation. I mean what if the guests brought clothes that don't fit the code (aka no sleeveless when all the clothes I brought were sleeveless)? They should be informed ahead of time so they can bring proper attire.

Rooms are super old school like 80's-90's feel and could use a renovation. It's actually ok- not too bad except that for the price, I expected more. Places like these usually go for much less. Their towels look about a decade old so if you are sensitive with your towels, bring your own. I just used them anyway since I'm not too fuzzy but I did notice they looked like nearing the end of their usable life.

Wind was a bit strong and went brownout. Waiting for the generator felt like an awful long time considering I was alone and scared after watching horror stuff. It isn't automatic. I called front desk and they told me engineers were still turning it on. Food is a bit on the pricey side. For the price we paid, no free breakfast. One thing to note here is you cannot have food deliveries inside during the time their restaurants are open so we can only order before 8am and after 8pm. Otherwise, you have to go to the gate and pick it up from the rider.

Overall it's an ok place if you get it at a really really good deal. Otherwise, you can find newer resorts for the same if not cheaper rates. There isn't much to do except use the pool. Frankly, I don't see any reason to come back here, at least in the near future.
