Room was very clean, we had the 3-beds ensuite rooms, towels are provided in our room. lots of 24hrs restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly staff. Location was great, walking distance to 2 subways, Yatai, Canal City n many more. Would stay again if i'm back to Hakata. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

Room tip: 4 level walkup hostel. be prepared to carry your own baggage.

Hana Hostels are always good value for money and this one is no exception. The staff are friendly (and had a puppy running around :) ) and the rooms were nice.
The location of the hostel is right in the middle of the city, in a covered shopping arcade that connects to the metro so it's easy to reach. There are also numerous shops, restaurants and a huge shopping mall nearby.

Room tip: I suggest the Japanese style rooms with tatami floors and futon beds.

Excellent accomodation on a budget. Wonderful & helpful staff. Walking distance from subway & Hakata Canal Mall. Located on the shopping street, no worries if it rains. The street is covered & fun to shop around.

I loved everything about this hostel—the sociable people that I met quite literally the minute I arrived, to free tea and coffee, fuss-free early check-out, satisfyingly clean common areas and facilities (props especially for the racks and space to change in the shower room!), and comfy beds. Padlock and locker access provided for free; if you need towels, more padlocks, earplugs, adapters etc. they're all rentable either for free or a small charge (didn't need any myself but was impressed at the range of provisions available). Location was just minutes from a long shopping street with a Daiso and a shop selling famous Hakata pastries. Within a 10-minute radius is the Kushida Shrine, Tochoji Temple, a 24h supermarket and a row of ok but slightly overpriced yatai (street stalls) by the Nakagawa river. Couple more minutes to Canal City, Tenjin and Daimyo. Only downside is that dryer is a little weak, but I didn't need to use it myself. Wish all hostels were as good!

Hostel right at the end of Nakasukawabata shopping arcade if you’re coming from Nakasukawabata station or at the entrace when coming from Gion station. Location is great - back entrance to Kushida Shrine and Canal City elevated bridge few steps from hostel. There’s a Don Quijote nearby. Stayed in a private room with own t&b, room is clean and comfy. Free coffee/ tea anytime.
