We chose this hotel for location and it was really great. It's within the JR station complex and just across the Meitetsu Bus Complex as well. It's literally just steps away, not even a block. Everything was available between the JR Tower and JR Gate Tower complex. We took the train in and out of Nagoya and Meitetsu Bus to Nabano No Sato and the outlet.

Rooms were large, although the hotel itself is a bit on the older side. Still quite clean but dated.

Check in process was quite slow. Most of the time, I'm not sure what the front desk staff was waiting for. We came in early, so only one room was available, so it was ok. The process was painfully slow and as she was about to give me the key, suddenly had to make us wait again and couldn't really explain why. When I went back to pick up the other room's key at 6pm, the guy was surprised that I don't have my key. It took awhile again for him to talk to the other front desk staff to figure out that we've already checked in. And he later found the key in the folder somewhere. I would have expected more efficient service staff for a large chain such as Marriott.

We (family of 4) have just returned from our recent trip to Japan where we stayed at Nagoya Marriott. The location we found perfect for what we needed. Straight off the Shinkansen and after a few minute walk with the help of easy signage we were there. From arrival the service was always friendly and efficient. The room we found very spacious and comfortable with one of the biggest bathrooms we encountered while staying in Japan. Hotel was right next to train station, plenty of department stores, shops, and places to eat which made it very convenient. Unfortunately we didn't stay in Nagoya for enough days so will definitely return and stay at this hotel again. Would like to also mention the housekeeping staff for being super efficient and helpful when we had a child not feeling well, Stephen/Steven? that worked in lobby offered some great local advice, and the receptionist (Moon) who went above and beyond to help us we truly appreciate it. See you all in the future!

Service and room is fine. But a main complaint that is a huge negative for me at my stay is how they are so stingy with complimentary water. I stayed here 3 nights and one day they didn't even refill the two complimentary waters. Had to call the front desk and they claim that more than two waters is chargeable. At other five star hotels, they dont make such a big fuss over complimentary water. Housekeeping didn't even restock the 2 complimentary per day as per usual... bad room service and bad policy.

Hotel location is great!! just above the train station, at the center of the city.

lower level of the building is a big shopping mall. from the hotel you can go everywhere you want and buy souvenir if you are too busy to work.

Love this place!

This was great Hotel to relax / live in for ten full on Days in Japan .
Conveniently located Centrally near Restaurants , Bars and above the Rail System for Commuting .. Rooms good , slightly bigger than Japanese standard , Staff friendly , Breakfast amazing .
