Slight queue when arrived, but got seated after a short wait.

Ordered a large portion of Luroufan, some tofu & vegetables. Alas, the luroufan felt a tad underwhelming in its taste, the rice was a tad almost soggy.

Maybe I was expecting more, as I'm a fan of Luroufan, but hopefully it was just an off day for them.

We wanted to try it due to recommendation from our driver. & we happened to be near here by chance as we wanted to go to Taipei Main Post Office.

We were lucky to get a table immediately when we reached there without queuing.

Famous 卤肉饭 & 卤肉面 are ! Side dishes such as beancurd & vege & 控(?)肉 are good!!!

Must try n definitely worth the trip there!

Saw a few YouTube reviews so had to visit, after a walk at CKS Memorial Square.

You can find the shop by exiting Zhongshan station exit 2. It is located opposite the road if you use exit 3.

Must try is their lu rou fan, as well as Kong Ba, braised pork. A serving comes with 3 to 4 slices, and the pork fat will literally melt in your mouth.

Braised duck egg was firm, good flavor. The soups were also refreshing - chicken with clams, and pig stomach with radish and straw mushrooms.

This was our last meal in Taipei. We ordered a large bowl and a couple side dishes. The Lo Rou Fan had great flavor - but the bowl was mostly rice but the meat had a enough delicious juice to flavor all the rice. My mom no longer makes this at home anymore (she says it's too fattening) but the flavor is very similar to what she used to make. We had a filling dinner for just a few dollars. Worth a stop!
