Owner description: In 2007 the Taiwan Cultural-Creative Development Co. Ltd assumed responsibility for the renovation and operation of the Park and renamed it Huashan 1914. An organically creative environment has been growing ever since. Huashan 1914 now serves as Taipei's primary creative arts center and a hosting ground for Taiwan's most significant cultural activities. Examples include the Simple Life music festival and the BiBo student design expo. Today Huashan 1914 is not only the heart of Taiwan's creative pulse, but also a bridge to a unique architectural past.

I had read about the Haushan 1914 Creative Park but when i visited i was a little disappointed as the whole complex seemed to be for the Taiwanese youth and not too much for the tourist. The whole area used to be a distillery and now the buildings are used for fashion shows, art exhibitions and a lot more. there seemed to be many young people queueing up to enter some of the buildings. In the grounds i could still see some of the discarded equipment that was used in the distillery.
The only thing of interest was an upside down house which one could buy tickets to enter. I am not sure if this is a permanent feature or just a temporary display by the artist

We spent a great few hours wandering around this park - so many cool art & design stores with brilliant products! It looks like it's still a bit of a work in progress as some of the buildings are vacant or with ongoing work. There's a few places to eat & drink along with a film theatre. Def a nice place to pass some time and pick up some unique products. One of the outlets - Wooderful life also have a design area where you can make your own wood decor.

My wife's childhood friend who lives in Taipei kindly showed us around Huashan 1914 Creative Park one evening and all of us enjoyed seeing the arts and crafts produced by local artists. The Park has a nice ambiance and I would recommend the site to those interested in seeing the products of local creativity.

The stuff in this mall features some of the best design products from the region. Very nice Eslite hotel connected to it. The basement food area is well stocked with great cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Worth a trip down

This is a nice space to spend half a day or so to see the shops, creative spaces and DIY shops. There are quite a few things to do and places to eat. Really like the set up of the place as well. There is an electronics mall just around the corner as well.
